What is Provably Fair?

Provably fair systems publish a commitment before a result is known, then reveal the inputs afterward so anyone can reproduce and verify the outcome. A label alone is not proof; the original commitment and inputs must be available.

EOS block hashes

A production system can commit to a future EOS block so its hash is unknown when the round locks. Bloxsino does not currently attach EOS proofs or server-seed commitments to its local browser coinflips, so no such values are shown in a round’s details.

You can inspect the calculation format and verify externally supplied proof data with the reference calculator below.

Reference calculator

This follows the supplied reference implementation: HMAC-SHA256 uses the server seed as the key and blockHash:nonce as the message. The first 52 hash bits become a deterministic number between zero and one.

Current site status: BloxSino’s coinflip is still a local browser simulation. It does not currently create EOS-backed proofs. This calculator verifies supplied proof data; it does not certify local rounds.
